Reporting Infringement
If you believe material on Lewdly infringes a copyright you own or are authorised to act for, send a written notice to legal@lewdly.ai. We aim to acknowledge valid notices within five business days.
What a Valid Notice Must Contain
To be actionable, a notice must include all of the following. Incomplete notices delay processing because we cannot act on them as filed.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it. A direct URL is the most useful form of this.
- Your contact details, including address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
What We Do On Receipt
On receipt of a valid notice we remove or disable access to the material identified, and notify the account holder who posted it, including a copy of the notice.
Because content on Lewdly is generated rather than uploaded from third-party sources, most material has no third-party rights holder. Notices most commonly concern user-published content in public areas of the platform.
Counter-Notice
If your material was removed and you believe that removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address. A counter-notice must include your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, and your contact details together with consent to jurisdiction.
If we receive a valid counter-notice we may restore the material, subject to the timelines set out in the DMCA.
Repeat Infringers
Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices are terminated.
